I love old GTVs. It kills me that they’ve gone so much up in value.

Ever since I heard one drive by in California, they’ve been on my bucket list.
But yeah, they’re so pricey.

Just in the few years I’ve been aware of them, the average price has seemingly doubled.

I continue to kick myself for not buying one when a good, clean driver could be had for ~ $10, 000

Meh. Never been as big a fan of the Pors ches.. I like the 356, but they’ve been valuable for a while now... I almost bought a ‘73 GTV 2000 (1962 cc ) in the late 90's, but it needed some work and I couldn’t afford to buy it AND fix it... I was re nting at the time and had no place to work on it myself either. I still really wish I had found a way to mak e that work. It was SPICA injected , the guy selling had actually converted it back from an earlier carb conversion... It ran OK... Thats where it needed work..

The Porsche 964 is the first sports car I got to see in person, so it will always have a place in my heart. Although, like most boys in the 80s, I had a picture of a Countach on my bedroom wall.
I know the feeling about having space. Up until a few years ago, we always rented and I never had the space needed for a “fun” car. Now that I own my house, the want has increased exponentially.
